Participating in one of the best workshops conducted by Thompson Reuters Foundation in Nairobi Kenya recently, taught me three most useful things in investigative journalism. 1.Accuracy is vital- check all facts ( Don't Assume = Least you make an Ass- out of -You and Me ) 2.Offer good sourcing; check source reliability; source quotes even when protecting anonymity( moving from open sources to primary sources until you get to Key (closed) sources 3.Demonstrate numeracy skills
