Elected as Senegal president in April 2000,Abdoulaye Wade, has decided to seek a third term in the February 26 presidential elections. The constitution limits heads of states to two terms in office but the judges ruled Mr Wade's first term did not count as this was before the limit was introduced.
Senegal has headed to a run off after a heated first round elections against Macky Sall. His seeking of a third term in office has lead to bloody demonstrations the country has ever experienced in its history.Such instances are typical of African presidents who cling on to power even if it is clear their public s dont need them.DRC,among others has faced these problems.

that is the problem about the African leaders they think that we are still under monarchy. He could refuse from leaving the seat but he musn't kill his own people wat kind of a leader is that. Its a reflection that he does not have people at heart but he has his job at heart.
